Patoranking marries Yemi Alade (Photos)

It looks like Yemi Alade and Patoranking are working on something fun for their legion of fans as wedding photos of the two emerged online creating a serious online debate.

In a series of photos shared exclusively on ranking’s Instagram page, the music stars are seen dressed in traditional attire, while they both walk down the aisle, which makes many super curious about what their looks say about the music.

While they remain mum about what exactly they are working on, judging by the photos, fans will definitely love to know if they should expect a music video from the duo or the two have truly tied the knot.

Ranking is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter.

Born and raised in Ijegun-Egba Satellite Town, Patoranking hails from Onicha, Ebonyi State.

He started his music career doing underground collaborations with artists such as XProject, Konga, Slam and Reggie Rockstone.

He signed a record deal with K-Solo’s Igberaga Records in 2010, releasing “Up in D Club” under the outfit. Patoranking became a protégé of Dem Mama Records after collaborating with Timaya on his song “Alubarika”.

In February 2014, he signed a record deal with Foston Musik and released “Girlie O”, a single that put him in the limelight.

Yemi Eberechi Alade (born 13 March 1989), known professionally as Yemi Alade, is a Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, actress and activist.

She won the Peak Talent Show in 2009 after which she signed to Effyzzie Music Group, and had a hit with her single “Johnny” in 2014.

Since then Yemi has gained prominence in the music industry following the releases of her albums King of Queens and Mama Africa, this made her embark on world tours consecutively.

She won the MTV African Music Awards for Best female in 2015 and 2016 consecutively and was nominated for Artiste of the Year in 2015, making her to first female to win the MAMAs for Best female consecutively twice and nominated for Artiste of the Year in 2015.
