About 2 million, Goma residents including mothers and babies were seen carrying mattresses and other belongings fleeing the city on foot many towards Rwanda yesterday at night.

Nyiragongo’s last eruption in 2002 killed 250Volcanic Eruption in Eastern Congo and left 120,000 homeless.

It is one of the world’s most active volcanoes and is considered among the most dangerous.

Africans of goodwill have eulogies President Paul Kagame for allowing all the Congolese who have crossed the border to be lodged in schools and places of worship in Rwanda.
