Another day in politics

With 2022 already taking a political shape, the upcoming general elections in August will clearly be a tight one as the big names in politics seem to have spurred popularity.

While the wheelbarrow nation took over Nairobi this week, Ruto seems to be gaining more popularity. This is according to the Mizani Africa’s survey released today. According to their polls in Muranga and Uasin Gishu he takes a lead with 63.7% and 80.6% respectively while Raila follows closely in the same regions with 26.9% and 12.5% respectively.

In Kakamega however, things are looking quite rosy for Raila as he takes a lead with 49.6%, followed by Ruto with 28.2%.

In the polls however, Mudavadi isn’t doing too well; in Muranga he tails with 4.2%, 1.2% in Uasin Gishu and 17.6% in Kakamega despite the fact that he ails from the region.

Making a 5th comeback to the race this year, things might finally be looking up for Raila as he aims on garnering popularity in the Mount Kenya Region.

The three parties are yet to announce their running mates.

PRESS STATEMENT: STRANGE RAGE OF WILLIAM RUTO

The strange rage expressed by Deputy President William against Rt. Hon Raila Odinga this afternoon should be easy to understand.
Ruto is simply setting the stage for the removal of Madoadoa from the Rift Valley and, if need be, start a war in the Rift Valley.

Violence has been part and parcel of Ruto’s brand of politics right from the time he introduced himself to Kenyans through the YK92, through 1997 to 2008. Other than use of money to buy support, violence is Ruto’s main tool for political ascendance.

It is not beyond Ruto to sponsor the disruption of his own rally so that he can have an excuse to start ethnic cleansing back at home.
It also ought to be understood that the youths were being paid to attend the Jacaranda rally today. Either Ruto ran out of money or the people he trusted with the money did not pay all the youths.

The bigger picture that Kenyans must not miss however is that Ruto is looking for an excuse to start ethnic cleansing in the Rift Valley.
