It seems like Betty Kyalo has decided to unhung her media boots and is now ready for the silver screen once again – 3 years after she left the profession that made her.

Citizen Witness News has received highly confidential photos and videos which appear to indicate that the celebrated media personality, who has been a widely-known face across Kenyan news TV for over a decade, has now made her way back on TV.

In one of the videos which we believe clearly indicates her dalliance with TV once again, Betty Kyalo is seen perched on a makeup chair as her makeup artist does some sprucing up before she leaves for the set.

While all this is going on, a voice which we couldn’t immediately identify, but which sounds familiar, is heard saying, “You guys finish up… We’re almost going LIVE,” after which Betty responds, “Is the prompter ready?”

Betty Kyalo left primetime TV in 2020 after working at Mediamax-owned K24 TV for two years where she hosted the hugely-popular program ‘Weekend with Betty’.

But it was through a segment within the news program ‘Uplcose with Betty’ where Betty cemented herself as the bonafide TV darling with her infectious ability to seamlessly gather deeper personal information from top celebrities and political honchos.

While the show was still at its highest, Betty would leave TV and embark on her personal businesses first diving into ‘Flair By Betty’ before venturing further into male grooming with the suave barber spot ‘Aftershave’.

Along the way, the happy-go-lucky business debutante has spread her entrepreneurial wings even further and launched the sprawling party swath ‘Summer House’.

The ‘Kyalo Kulture’ star was first introduced to the world at KTN where she read the primetime news for a staggering 8 years.

It is while at KTN where she honed her media skills and became Kenya’s version of Jennifer Aniston – Kenya’s Sweetheart.

Our attempts to reach her for comment on the matter proved futile.

A section of Mount Kenya leaders have come out strongly to stand with former president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Led by KARIUKI kiruga they said

“We are saddened by a section of politicians who have been showing sheer disrespect for our former president Uhuru Kenyatta. It’s utter disrespect to call for Uhuru Kenyatta to be arrested the way Ndindi Nyoro, Kimani Ichungwa and the rest. These are the leaders orchestrating disunity in the region instead of uniting the region.

We lost a leader who was caring and had a vision for this country especially through the one man, one vote one shilling.

Mike Makarina noted

“I’m urging Mount Kenya people to stand in solidarity and defend one of their own. Why are we being told to insult our kingpin whilst other communities heap loads of respect for their leaders. We are urging his excellency the President to embrace dialogue in a bid to save our country from chaos and disorder.

Makarina also decried taxing the persons with disabilities. He also decried lack of inclusion in the list of Cabinet administrative secretaries.
